Otium
Do you need a great restaurant recommendation for DTLA? We both have students at USC and Jennifer has season tickets to the Music Center, so we find ourselves downtown at least once a month. We have been to many of the new hotspots to hit DTLA and Otium has made that bumper to bumper drive worth it.
An open kitchen, a two-story wine cellar and outdoor patios enhance the ambiance of this airy, architectural restaurant. Cocktails have a creative twist on the classics such as a cynar julep or a saffron tequila lemonade. All dishes are meant to be shared. You have to try the roasted chicken with potatoes and shishito peppers, agnolotti pasta seasoned with chili, lime and cojita, and don’t miss the melt-in-the-mouth Otium Cloverleaf baked-in-the-skillet dinner rolls – they're TDF (to die for!). A great stop pre-theater, or after a visit to The Broad or MOCA.
