Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito

Jennifer recently stayed at the newly remodeled Rosewood Miramar in Montecito. The hotel is positioned directly on the beachfront where you can start your day with an invigorating run and coffee on the deck and end it with a leisurely stroll on the sand before getting dinner at Caruso’s, the resort’s signature, oceanfront restaurant.

The rooms are well-appointed with wonderful blues and whites and exceptionally comfortable beds. We recommend the garden rooms which are located in a bungalow-type setting nestled amongst oak trees and beautiful landscaping. The charming whistle of the train can be heard as it passes through the property several times a day which is quite old-fashioned, in the best way.

There are two pools with several verandas for guests to enjoy and two restaurants currently open - Malibu Farm for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Caruso’s for fine dining. Both are superb. Also scattered across the property are multiple bars, both inside and out, where you can enjoy a refreshing poolside cocktail or a post-dinner libation.

An indoor-outdoor gym includes a private studio for group classes, yoga or aerobic activities. Nearby, the spa boasts an abundance of interesting treatments from body experiences and massages to facials and manicures/pedicures.

James Perse and Goop both have stores on site as well, which carry unique items and classic staples from their collections.

A wonderful, local staycation for Southern Californians, we recommend making a getaway to The Rosewood Miramar during the week for a night or two, when it is significantly less crowded and has better rates!
